The Queen’s Jubilee
Four Chairmen from local Abbotsbury groups: Friends of St Nicholas, Beachcombers, Strangways Hall and ATTA have formed a committee to plan some exciting activities in the village to celebrate the occasion. (as announced at the CBPC meeting in February).

Reporting Candles on the Hill on 21st November 2021
The 2021 project was run jointly by ATTA and Friends of St Nicholas.
The event happens each year on the nearest convenient Sunday to St Catherine’s Day.
It is always windy and cold on St Catherine’s Hill, and this year proved to be no exception.

The Old School House Tearooms & Garden
…in Back Street will offer weather dependent service outdoors in their garden, seating up to sixteen people. They will have a reduced menu of tea, coffee, sandwiches, soup, baked potatoes, cakes, cream teas, and can also provide takeaway service. Hours on days that weather permits will be from 10.30 a.m. till 4.30 p.m.

Abbey House
…located beside the church, a short walk from the Rodden Row car park. Lunches will be served in their fabulous garden from 12th April. The menu will be a selection of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options, and specialising in local fish, interesting salads, and puddings. Assuming good weather the hours will be from midday till last order at 3.30 p.m. You are advised to book in advance.

Dansel Gallery
…in Rodden Row famous for the lovely collection of contemporary designer handcrafted woodwork, will re-open on 12th April, every day from 10 a.m. till 5.30 p.m. There is a private carpark beside the gallery.
