Abbotsbury in FebruaryFebruary in Abbotsbury is one of the more interesting months. The weather alone can offer anything from frosty, sunny days (or even snow!) to the murky dismal. Be assured, however, there is always a warm welcome awaiting you in one of our cosy tea-rooms or by a roaring log fie in either of our two coaching inns.

Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens is well worth visiting in February. The gardens display a variety of unusual and rare winter flowering shrubs that provide unexpected, stunning colour at this time of year.

To further brighten our spirits, Valentine’s Day in the middle of the month provides the opportunity to buy that special, unique gift from the Artisan Flower Shop in Chapel Lane, or from Dansel’s Woodwork. Gallery, or Purple Nanny in Rodden Row.

The village car park is in Rodden Row and parking during February is free of charge.
