With the school holidays over and cooler weather conditions, Abbotsbury is perfectly situated for those of you who enjoy walking the Jurassic Coast Path, or indeed just to walk in and around our beautiful village.

If you arrive by car and park in the village car park, the attendant will give you our village brochure highlighting our many shops and services, or if you visit St. Nicholas Church you can pick up a ‘walks booklet’ that not only details a walk around the village but also offers a brief history of this truly fascinating place.

Walking into the village via the car park entry/exit you will find yourself in Rodden Row – ‘Purple Nanny’ at No 14 not only sells eco friendly products but also hosts monthly exhibitions by local artists, why not pop in for a browse, Tina takes great care to source some quite unique and interesting items for sale in her shop.
