Richard's pottery can be found in the centre of Abbotsbury, next to the village store in West Street.
Here, he produces a wide range of functional pots as well as a range of "one-off" large pieces. All
his work is hand-built or thrown on the wheel and individually decorated in bold patterns and
colours, traditioanlly known as slipware. Pottery courses are offered throughout the year.Normal opening times: Workshop - 9.30am-5pm, Tuesday to Saturday Gallery - 10am-6pm, Tuesday to Saturday 2pm-5pm Sunday Please telephone before making a special trip to check whether we are open, as this is a small family business. |
