Membership
Membership is open to anyone resident in either of the parishes of Abbotsbury or Portesham and is currently about sixty.
Finances (2017)
Membership is currently £7.00/year. Trips are £10.00 and Lunches are £10.00
Activities
The Club organises trips from April to November and has indoor meetings with a speaker in January, February and March. The latter is the Club AGM. If necessary, all external meetings will be subsidised.
Other activities include a Summer Lunch in August and a Christmas Lunch in December, both held in Portesham Village Hall. All trips and events normally take place on the third Tuesday of the month. During most months, there is Bingo in the Strangeways Village Hall in Abbotsbury. The main fund-raising activity for the Club is a “Village Café” in August at Portesham Village Hall.
The Club will always welcome new members, if you wish to join, please contact one of the officers listed above.
